Food Network BBQ Competition's new season has new contestants, new chef lineups, and the judges will remain the same. Brooke Williamson, Rodney Scott and Carson Kressley will again judge the competition. This time around, they'll be judging a new category - sauces! It's a must-see! Tune in to the Food Network and see who wins the top prize!

Erica Blaire Roby

Roby's recent appearance on Blue Smoke Grill, a Food Network program, shows that she has more to cooking than many people think. She trained under some of the biggest names in the business and has even won a $7,500 grant from the Preserve the Pit fellowship program. She was challenged by some of the best chefs in the country as her barbecue skills were tested. Roby endured the pain despite a cut finger.

Roby, a psychology graduate, has worked as a wine expert as well as a criminal defense attorney. Prior to appearing on Food Network as a competitor, she was a sommelier and paired wines with different foods. She was able to rekindle her love for cooking and the kitchen through this work. Roby grew up with a father who owned a barbecue place.

Roby began cooking barbecue even though she was a lawyer. Her father's dream of her opening a barbecue restaurant inspired her, so she decided to take up the challenge. Roby took a course in barbecue cooking with celebrity pitmaster Harry Soo. After completing the course, Roby was certified as a pitmaster and began work in a barbecue restaurant.

Her love for barbecue started as a hobby. She eventually became obsessed with the art of barbecuing. In the beginning, she cooked on her back patio. Later, she competed in barbecue contests across the nation, cooking alongside world-famous pitmasters. She has opened a number of pop-ups in Dayton, Ohio since then. She plans to open a food truck.

Team Brawl vs. Team Brawl and Team Anne

The Food Network BBQ Team Brawl's third season will see two of the most renowned chefs around the world team up to fight for the title of best griller. Anne Burrell, Jet Tila and Bobby Flay will face off in a dinner party brawl sure to be memorable. Matt Roth, a favorite of "BBQ Brawl", returns to the Austin-based Smokin Beauty along with his wife Thao.

Ann explained to the contestants what she was making, while Jet (from Food Network BBQ Team Brawl) let them choose. As a result, Team Bobby failed to make his ceviche. Team Anne is now ahead by a lot. Anne even grabbed Team Bobby's throat as he reached for an ingredient.

Some familiar faces will be appearing in the new season's BBQ Team Brawl, just as they do with all Food Network competitions. Lee Ann Whippen has been competing in barbecuing over 23 years and will serve as Team Anne's judge. She is also the managing partner of Deviled Pig in Tampa and a judge for the Kansas City Barbecue Society. She has been a star on television shows such as Throwdown with Bobby Flay and BBQ Pitmasters, and has won numerous state and international barbecue championships.

Flay and Symon were also in a battle for the best barbecue sandwich. Lee Ann took a more traditional approach, while Susie took a more exotic turn. Although her pork belly banh mash was innovative, judges were not impressed by its thickness. Team Anne's hamburger was tasty, juicy, and served on a solid bun.
